The Phluid Project launched in March 2018 - in NYC and online - to make gender-free apparel and accessories available worldwide. The Phluid Project’s “Love” t-shirt is a white all-cotton short sleeved t-shirt with a round crew neck neckline. The t-shirt’s design, which incorporates the word “Love” appears across the chest of the t-shirt. The letter “O” in “Love” is replaced by a heart shape that is filled with the vibrant rainbow colors of the Pride flag (including the colors of the Progress flag). The colors utilized in the design are the recognizable colors of the widely used Pride and Progress flags. Designed to empower its wearer, the “Love” t-shirt serves as a stylish, yet bright reminder to treat others with kindness and show compassion for the world and people around us. Its universal messaging of “love” appeals to everyone, and further demonstrates the importance of love in our lives. The gender-less marketing of the product intends the t-shirt to be worn by people of any and all genders in The Phluid Project’s own effort to revolutionize the clothing industry and break through gender binaries in the fashion universe, while sharing messages of pride and acceptance not only during Pride Month, but year round.
